nik’s winter cup has been the premier Winter 1v1 in osu! Standard since 2020, and is a criminally underrated tournament series overall. nik always manages to kick off the tournament season with a blast, whether with the high-octane multi-tier approach of 2020 or the hyper focus on quality he’s had in 2021 and 2022. With high production value, consistent livestreams, well-trained referees, and some of the best mappools around the tournament scene, it is no surprise that nik’s winter cup finds its way here.

Suiji Spring Cup
Suiji Spring Cup is the premier random team tournament in osu! Standard, and the community’s adoration of this event cannot be understated. In the last 4 years, the rank cutoff to be in the top 256 registered players and be able to participate has gone from rank 2,500 to rank 1,300 as more and more players become excited about Suiji. With the refreshing format and chances to team up with new players, Suiji’s attraction is obvious to anyone in the tournament scene.

The Perennial
The Perennial made big waves last year as the highest prize pool 4v4 tournament that osu! had ever seen. The Perennial’s heavy focus on production quality during its first iteration goes nearly unmatched, with recap videos, pregame shows, post-tournament awards, post-match interviews with winning teams, and stunning glass trophies. As the Perennial rebrands and refocuses on other aspects, community excitement does not go unnoticed, with teams already forming for this Spring 4v4.

Yazzehh’s Summer Cup
Yazzehh’s Summer Cup is the premier community 1v1 osu! Standard tournament. The hype around YSC and the competition seen within it is unmatched in nearly any other tournament throughout the year, let alone any other 1v1, and that's largely due to the host herself. Yazzehh is one of the longest-standing OWC referees and has been a community tournament figure for longer than most people have been playing osu!, making this 1v1 something that nearly everyone in the community gets excited for.

Corsace Open
Corsace Open is the premier community 4v4 osu! Standard tournament. With its fantastic production value, with custom stream clients and backgrounds, a fully built-out website, the series-based format, and an incredible staff team, this alone would be enough to make Corsace Open one of the best tournaments around and a true community event. The tipping point is the mappools; with every single map custom made for the Corsace Open over the last 3 iterations, and multiple custom songs in Corsace Open 2021, this is the standard.
